Akelaland 25th Anniversary Dinner

Akelaland is currently celebrating its 25th year in operation as a Cub Scout camp. Come and join us on July 18th at noon at the Saddleback (Akelaland Dinning Hall). 60th Anniversary Celebration at Camp Minsi

The Minsi Trails Council is proud to announce that Camp Minsi is celebrating its 60th anniversary this summer. In honor of this tenure, the 2009 Summer Camp Staff is announcing its plans for the anniversary party on Friday, July 24th. Friday, July 24th, 2009 . This is an open invitation to view the program of Camp Minsi while camp is in operation. You are welcome to come to camp starting at 3:00 p.m. on the 24th. You can tour camp and see what great changes there have been over the years. There will also be a Special Dinner commemorating the 60th Anniversary in the Dining Hall at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the day, there will be static and rolling displays and discussions about the history of Camp Minsi, the old Ice House and the creation of Stillwater Lake. Rounding out and concluding the day will be a Special Campfire which will include the 60th anniversary theme. The cost will be $8 per person to cover the cost of the evening meal.
