Camping: wilderness, rustic, improved and cabin camping. Stay in the wild, or in grassy sites, or on platforms or in cabins. We have winter tents outfitted with wood-fired heating stoves for extreme winter camping.

Hiking:  Many different trails to hike, marked well, and generally easy walking. In winter, with ice and snow, plan on tougher going. Many species of PA wildlife and plantlife along the trail. Leave no Trace!

Swim/Boat: Camp Minsi sports canoes, rowboats and sailboats. Klampeechen Chupecat (Lake Stillwater) is a classic mountain lake with shallow depth, frequent winds and clean bottom. Our docks are in the water year around for swimmers.

NOTE: You are required to bring your own Safe-Swim qualified leadership to use these facilities.

Fishing: Lake Stillwater holds Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Crappie and Catfish. The tailwaters of the lake compose Tunkhannock Creek and offer Brook and Rainbow trout fishing.

Pioneering: Camp Minsi offers an abundance of “down wood” to allow an adventures-oriented Troop to build model campsites with gateways, elevated platforms, etc. Camp Minsi is a great place to work on outdoor merit badges.

Rifle, Archery, Shotgun: Our ranges are clustered, but divided to provide a safe experience. Please bring appropriate gear and qualified personnel to supervise these activities.

Athletics: Camp Minsi offers a softball field for your Troops to enjoy. In the spring to fall seasons, usually a volleyball net is available as well.

Service Projects: Lot’s of camp improvement activities available for those Troops that want to give back yo our camp. Check with our Ranger or Campmaster upon checking in to sign up for “your good turn”.
